Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover with 2.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest June to October, start to harvest when golf ball size for baby beet. Twist the tops off as this prevents the sap from bleeding. Young baby leaves are edible and can be used in salads.
