1-Year vs. 2-Year Plants

Both options are healthy, nursery-grown stock the difference lies in their size and how quickly theyll establish and begin fruiting:

  • 1-Year Plants (915″) Smaller, younger plants ideal for long-term growth. Theyll focus on root development during their first season, leading to vigorous production in later years.
  • 2-Year Plants (1624″) Larger and more mature, ready to establish quickly. These plants often produce a light crop the following season and reach full productivity sooner.

  • Fertilize lightly in early and late spring with an acid-form fertilizer
