Strange Middle Eastern heirloom also called Serpent Cucumber or Snake Melon that looks and tastes like a cucumber but is actually a melon. Crisp, mild, sweet flesh is burpless, bitter-free and makes perfect pickles in addition to being our longest slicer. Especially suited for hot climates, with pale green, ribbed fruits with white flesh. Trellis them for straight fruits; otherwise they twist and turn when grown on the ground.
