Helipterum White

Helipterum roseum White, also known as everlasting daisy or paper daisy, is a delicate yet durable annual prized for its pure white, double-petalled flowers with bright yellow centres. The blooms have a crisp, papery texture that makes them ideal for cut flower arrangements and especially for dried floral work, where they retain their colour and form for months. Their clean, classic look pairs beautifully with other everlasting flowers in wreaths, bouquets and craft projects.

In the garden, Helipterum Double White adds a soft, airy presence to cottage gardens, wildflower borders, and cutting beds. Plants grow to a height of 4560 cm and bloom prolifically throughout spring and summer. The flowers also attract bees and other beneficial pollinators, making them both ornamental and ecologically useful.

Once established, these plants are drought-tolerant and require minimal care. Regular picking or deadheading will encourage extended blooming. For drying, harvest flowers just before they are fully open and hang them upside down in a dry, airy place.
