Allium Drumstick

This striking plant will most certainly add interest to your mixed perennial borders. Allium will take a few years to flower when grown from seed, the bulb needs to develop into a size capable of producing a flower. The plants bear egg-shaped, green tinged flowers, then mature to a deep maroon colour. Sandy’s Tip: Grow in pots and place these in the garden so you don’t lose the bulbs.
